Travie McCoy’s solo album is up for pre-order today. “Billionaire” featuring Bruno Mars is a fantastic song. I think this album is going to be absolutely incredible. Make sure you pre-order this. I bet it’s worth it!
Kris Roe of The Ataris was recently in a terrible accident!
Kris was in a bad car wreck this week. His car was totaled, front end completely smashed, roof rip opened. The person in front of him slammed on their brakes unexpectedly, he swerved out of the way to avoid hitting them, causing him to slam into a massive LED construction warning sign. The sign crashed through his front window, then flew over his car ripping off a huge section of the roof.
Fortunately he was wearing his seatbelt and is expected to make a full recovery.
Due to the circumstances we regret to inform you that we have no other choice but to cancel our appearance next week in San Francisco. We plan on making another trip out to California in early July with our friends Gasoline Heart and will be booking those dates shortly. Our next scheduled show is May 29th in Chicago at Subterranean. That show will still go on as planned. See you there. Thanks.

I thought this would be a fantastic first news post. We Are Defiance are a band from Florida. I’ve followed these guys on Twitter and totally dig their sound. Tragic Hero Records is a great label, and I think they made a fantastic choice in choosing these guys as their newest band. Check them out. You won’t regret it!

This is a new music blog that I have started to keep up with today’s music scene.
